Demon fliched, his tail flicked the floor once in what seemed like repressed anger.
"If I was an animal... would you even be able to have this conversation with me?"

Seth wondered about it for a moment. "Never even thought about it." he said honestly. "I guess- I guess not?"

"never thought of it? figures." he said bitterly. "never even crossed your mind that I never wanted to be like this, never wanted to be hunted even though I have done nothing wrong. that's why I despise people like you"

"We have to kill you for our own survival. It's only natural."

Demon let out a growl, his tail whipped the floor once again. "You think murdering inoccents is natural?"

"Well, I don't know." Seth mumbled. He has had doubts about it himself, never letting them rise or speak of them in fear of getting punished for his words. "But I guess it is, if the opportunity is getting killed yourself."

Demon kept quiet for some moments. then he got up and came by the boy, leaning above him.
"I became like this when I was thirteen." He muttered unter his breath, "then, suddenly I became 1# most wanted instead of a regular school kid, I've never done anything wrong, I didn't even know WHAT was wrong with me and why everyone hated me before I found shelter in the streets."
his hand rested on Seth's thigh, soft an warm.

Seth shut his eyes and sighed. "I never had any family, then all of a sudden I was taken for this job. All I know is that I have to kill creatures like you, this is all I was told in my entire life. I'm sorry if you feel it's injustice, but I'm not the one to blame here."

"You are just following orders, so you think that makes you innocent." suddently Demon's claws punctured Seth's skin, and with one look at him one could see he is mad. "fuck you"

Seth whimpered. "You should just kill me." he said suddenly. "If you hate me so much."

"and be like you?" he smirked. "No, I will keep you alive. now be quiet."

Seth growled. "Why? Why keep me alive if you don't like me? And I'm not going to keep quiet, so why even bother trying to shut me up?"

"Because I'm not like you, I don't mindlessly kill other people." he said, "and because I don't like you, I don't plan on releasing you either"

"That doesn't make any sense." Seth pointed out. "If you hate me you would want to get rid of me, right? Kill me or let you go. Why would you want to keep me here if I'm annoying you? unless..." he drifted, not quite sure how to end that sentence.

"You will suffer more here if I don't let you go." he concluded, "Letting you go is out of option, and I am not a murderer. that's all."
he sat up, "and I want you to see just who you've been trying to kill."

"Locking me up and making me suffer doesn't really help you to come off as innocent creature. If you want me to feel bad about trying to kill you, you should let me go. That way I will possibly think you're a good person and might feel a little guilty..." he knew there wasn't a chance he would do that, but what the hell, why not.

"And let you go back and tell them where to find me?"

Seth sighed. "What do you want from me? Are you just going to let me rot here? Starve me? Or maybe you're going to eat me?"

"Like I said, I don't eat people." Demon said, then smirked. "I think I'll just keep you, like a pet."

Seth rolled his eyes. "If you think for a moment I'm going to be as cute as a puppy, you're very wrong."

"For what ever reason you seem to think I care." Demon returned to his place on the mattress and lied down, his face concealed from view. "Now, you better. Stay quite or I'll make sure you never talk again."

"Oh yeah? And how exactly are you gonna do it?"

"cut your tongue" Demon didn't raise his headm "just bacause I'm not killing you - doesn't mean I'm not able to severely injure and mulitate you"

Seth gulped, suddenly feeling the seriousness of all of it. The best he could do for now is to keep quiet and wait for the other hunters that would come for him.

Demon smiled to himself. he wasn't really going to do anything like that, but knowing his threats had an effect was great.
his eyes closed slowly, his face was facing Seth's way so e could see him clealy as he drifted off to sleep.
